The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the organisation’s ongoing operations and procedures for the Dubai office. As a key member of the senior management team in Dubai, the COO will report directly to the CEO in Dubai and ensure that operations run smoothly locally and in line with global processes. The goal of the COO will be to secure the day-by-day operations of the business in Dubai and to drive extensive and sustainable growth working closely with local management and the relevant teams within the Group.Responsibilities:Operational Strategy and PerformanceDesign and implement business operations strategies, plans, and procedures tailored to both local and Emerging MarketsSet comprehensive goals for performance and growth in the Middle East as well as in Emerging MarketsOversee daily operations of the company and the work of all teams locally and within Emerging MarketsLead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedicationIntegrate Emerging Market dynamics into operational strategiesLeadership and ManagementManage relationships with partners/vendors in both local and Emerging MarketsEvaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics specific to the Middle East and Emerging Markets.Write and submit reports to the CEO for the Middle East and Emerging Markets in all matters of importanceFinancial ManagementOversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures in both the Middle East and Emerging Markets, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategic goalsManage budgets and forecasts to meet the company’s strategic goalsProcess ImprovementSpearhead initiatives to optimise and scale operational processes with a focus on Emerging Markets, ensuring that these processes are adaptable and efficient in diverse market conditionsIdentify and implement best practices to drive efficiency and effectivenessCorporate GovernanceEnsure company operations comply with legal regulations and internal policiesMaintain and build upon the company’s strong corporate governance frameworkRequirements:Proven experience as COO or relevant roleOutstanding Project Management skills and proven ability to deliver on time and on budgetUnderstanding of all business functions, roles, and responsibilities and how the functions interactDemonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development, particularly within diverse and rapidly changing marketsWorking knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metricsOutstanding organisational and leadership abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and relationship skillsAptitude in decision-making and problem- solving, specifically in addressing unique challenges of nuanced marketsAbility to effectively navigate and understand diverse economic, regulatory, and cultural environments.Personal Qualities:Demonstrated ability to build relationships, interact and communicate at any levelStrong leadership and influencing skillsHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientationInnovative mindset with a strong focus on efficiency and productivity.What we offer:Competitive SalaryInternational Team CollaborationState-of-the-art EquipmentGenerous Annual Leave PolicyEmployee Referral ProgramGreat office in a central locationComprehensive Private Medical InsuranceAnnual Global Performance Review CycleGreat Benefit SystemApply for this job
