About the RoleWe are searching for a strategic and dynamic Payments Product Lead to revolutionize our payments offerings. This senior role is crucial for orchestrating a seamless and secure payment experience that caters to both hotels and their guests. As a product leader within the organization, this position involves guiding the product vision, innovating on payment functionalities, and ensuring the product's market competitiveness.Canary Technologies provides hotels with innovative solutions to drive efficiency and enhance the guest experience, including speeding up payments and making credit card authorizations easy and secure. Our core solutions, like Canary Digital Authorizations, help hotels reduce chargebacks and fraud and get rid of antiquated technology in hotels. We are building new 0 to 1 product lines to further expand on this core product suite. This role is pivotal in shaping the way travelers around the world interact with hotels in the digital age. Responsibilities Strategically lead the development and execution of the long- term product vision and roadmap for our payment solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectivesSpearhead the integration of card acquiring processes and advanced payment functionalities within the product ecosystem, enhancing the end-to-end payment cycleInitiate and drive major payment projects from conceptualization to implementation, setting standards for excellence and innovationFoster collaboration across various teams including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Data Science, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure cohesive product strategies and execution plansPartner closely with Product Managers across multiple modules such as check-in, digital tipping, and overall guest payment experience to optimize product offeringsRegularly interact with executive leadership and stakeholders to report on product progress, insights, and strategic directionQualifications10+ years of experience in product management, with extensive expertise in managing high- impact digital products in the payments industryDeep knowledge and operational expertise in payment processing both in 'card present' and 'card not present' contexts, including mastery of PCI compliance standards and P2PE solutionsDemonstrated ability in cultivating strategic partnerships with external vendors and suppliers to bolster product capabilitiesExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of leveraging complex data to inform strategic decisions and improve product functionalitiesStrong leadership presence with excellent communication skills, capable of inspiring and guiding cross-functional teams and interacting with senior stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple, high-stakes projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentDemonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiencesBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental and Vision)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) and Canary DaysStock Option PlanFlexibility to visit and travel to our offices (SF, NY or Dallas)Paid Parental LeaveA diverse, world-wide teamThis position represents a unique opportunity to lead a sophisticated payments platform at a foundational level within a company that’s set to redefine the hospitality experience worldwide.
