As the Knitting Mechanic, reporting to the Production Shift Lead, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, necessary mechanical adjustments, day-to-day mechanical issues and assigned tasks by leadership to ensure machines are running at peak efficiency to reaching daily targets. The Knitting mechanic is also responsible for escalated issues through our tier system.As the Knitting Mechanic, you will work in 4 day rotating shift patterns, which will consist of rotations between day and night shifts.The role of the Knitting Mechanic:Executing program changes on automatic knitting machines for work orders.Troubleshoot and fixing mechanical issues.Performing needle renewals.Completing daily reports on daily priority list.Interacting with the HMI (human machine interface).Requirements:Availability to work on shift.Previous mechanical experience on circular knitting machines.Comfortable communicating in either French or English.Experience with the methodology of Quality Assurance.Previous experience of upkeep and maintenance routines with installing/changing/checking machine components like; dial bits, blades, selectors, sensors, KTF feeders, stitch cams etc.Comfortable giving feedback.Team player.What we offer: RRSP matching contribution Birthday day off & Sheertex tights giftEmployee perks programParental leave & PPE allowancePaid time off & sick leaveHealth & dental benefit insurance Access to Telemedicine services (Dialogue)Donation matching & volunteer time offCommute perks with Opus & Cie & bikeLearning & career growth opportunities If you are a professional ready to take on the challenge and you thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment, we invite you to submit your application.
