Every team member has the opportunity to leave a direct and lasting impact as we strive to become the leading company in better textiles.Electromechanical (EM) Technicians install, assemble and repair industrial electronic equipment including variable speed drives, PLC equipment, process control systems, and a wide variety of automated control systems ranging from simple on-off control to robotics. You will be responsible for the precise assembly of machinery, following intricate technical guidelines and blueprints, and, at times, relocating machines to alternate sites.Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient operation of all machinery and maintain the safety of our facilities.The role of the Electromechanical Technician:Responsible for electrical mechanical repairs, installations and maintenanceTroubleshoots with production / engineering electrical programs (PLC)Updating communication equipment for machineryRepairs and installs PC boardsResponding to various maintenance requestsWorks with sub contractors to maintain equipmentMaking recommendations for new maintenance products and equipment as necessaryQualifications for the role:Experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing systems in day to day tasks for the jobAbility to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner and be able to prioritize important workAbility to communicate any issues or problems to upper management while also being able to work with other staff members to get a particular job completedGood Knowledge of CMMS maintenance softwareCertification of First Aid trainingAble to read and understand drawings and schematicsGood knowledge of Health and Safety practices$30.75 - $30.75 an hourIf you are a professional ready to take on this challenge and you thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment, we invite you to submit your application.
