Ensure employees are technically well taken care of, phones, laptops, licenses, repairs, etc.About the roleOffice location: 1701 N Market St #330, Dallas, TX 75202 (5 days in office required)Provide ongoing technical support for staff and educate users to reduce reoccurring issuesAssist with account login issues or hardware problems such as a printer, phone, computer, etc. Offer solutions to problems in a productive wayWork with our Internet and VoIP providers to troubleshoot any Internet and VoIP issues within the office to avoid disruptionTroubleshoot and correct software problems, including routine training of usersRepair work equipment and replace parts as neededTest new products, run regular maintenance checks, and keep up-to-date with information security issues. Ensure upgrades are properly installedMonitor and maintain access to employee accounts and office accessEnsure timely deactivation of all accounts for employees exiting the organizationManage access key fobs for the office as part of the onboarding and offboarding proceduresMaintain company email distribution lists, keeping them up to dateProvision, maintain an inventory of and provide support for IT equipment used by employees (desktops, laptops, accessories, etc.)Maintain inventory of computers, laptops, mobile devices, hard drivers, power strips, chargers, storage cases, etc.Maintain records of all software licensesWork with the HR team to ensure all service accounts are set up and work equipment is ready for new hires’ first dayMaintain and expand the server and network infrastructure for a rapidly expanding user baseCreate and maintain technical documentation.Including scripts and internal apps alongside the engineering teamOther duties as assignedLI-LH1What we're looking forBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum of 3 years’ experience providing technical support in a Mac and Windows environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, in English.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesStrong technical background and the ability to explain complex technical information in simple, clear termsUp-to-date technical knowledge with a passion for technologyAbility to follow policies and procedures, ability to cope with stress and work under pressure, function as a team playerGreat attention to detailEmburse provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
