About the role:
As a Logistics Operative , you’ll work across multiple areas of our logistics operations, supporting the journey of every item that arrives and leaves our building. You’ll unpack, move, inspect, repack, and prepare goods for dispatch, always maintaining the highest quality standards and safety practices.
This is a physically active and hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys
teamwork, practical problem-solving, and working in a dynamic environment
where no two days are the same.
Getting Started...
- Learn and understand the foundations of Arcavindi’s logistics operations.
- Engage in training across check-in, sorting, packing, and dispatch functions.
- Safely and accurately process customer boxes under supervision.
- Understand and follow warehouse health & safety procedures.
Establishing Your Impact…
- Demonstrate increasing confidence in handling, inspecting, and moving vintage and fragile stock.
- Work efficiently and accurately to meet daily and weekly performance targets.
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth stock flow.
- Identify and report any damage, discrepancies, or process improvements.
Driving Excellence…
- Consistently process stock to meet internal quality and productivity standards.
- Cross-train across logistics areas to build versatility and support operational needs.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organised work environment.
- Contribute ideas for improving processes, layouts, and workflows.
Key Goals & Objectives:
- Maintain exceptional accuracy in inspecting, processing, and recording stock.
- Protect the integrity and value of vintage and precious goods through careful handling.
- Safely lift, move, and sort items up to 30kg.
- Work efficiently under time pressure while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support other teams as needed.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and shared success.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload and check in daily deliveries of customer boxes.
- Remove, categorise, and repackage stock for next-stage processing or return.
- Handle vintage and high-value goods with precision and care.
- Report defects, damages, or inconsistencies promptly.
- Move cages and pallets of stock safely between departments.
- Maintain accurate digital records using internal systems.
- Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, safe, and organised.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or stock control environments (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Physically capable of safely lifting and moving up to 30kg.
- Team-focused, proactive, and dependable.
- Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic IT competency for inventory and data entry tasks.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
