Privacy Policy

Conduit Jobs (the “Service”) is operated by Serenity Software (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service.
Information We Collect
Account Information
If you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store plaintext passwords.
Matching Preferences
If you tell us what you’re open to (comp, role, stack, location, etc.) so we can match you against new listings, we store those preferences against your account. You can edit or clear them at any time, and you can delete your account to remove them entirely.
Browsing & Usage Data
We keep basic server request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and operational debugging, and minimal anonymized analytics to understand what’s working. We don’t sell this data or share it with advertisers.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies: a session cookie for signed-in users, and a CSRF token for form security. We do not set third-party tracking cookies.
Public Listing Content
Job listings and company information shown on the Service are gathered from employers’ own publicly accessible career pages. That content is not personal data about Service visitors.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To match new listings against your stated preferences and notify you when something fits
- To send service-related communications (alerts you opted into, account notices)
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse or security incidents
Data Storage and Security
- All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS).
- Passwords are salted and hashed using industry-standard algorithms.
- Infrastructure runs on dedicated servers managed by Serenity Software — we do not use multi-tenant analytics or ad platforms.
Data Retention
We retain account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained longer.
Third-Party Links
Apply links and company URLs go to third-party sites we don’t control. Once you leave Conduit, you’re subject to those sites’ privacy practices.
Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Access or edit your account data through the Service
- Unsubscribe from any optional email alerts you signed up for
- Request an export of your data
- Delete your account and all associated personal data by contacting us
Children’s Privacy
The Service isn’t intended for anyone under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
