(Contract) CSAT Educator for UPSC - iPad Lessons

Type: Contract (1 month to 45 days)
Compensation: ₹50,000 – ₹75,000 (for the month, based on performance)
Mode: Remote (content creation) or in-office (in-office you will get iPad + Pencil for recording)

Role Overview

We’re hiring a CSAT Educator who can teach UPSC CSAT through audio + iPad writing (no face required). The task is to create clear, exam-relevant lessons and solve questions in a way that students can understand quickly.

This is a one-month contract role with a clear deliverable-based workflow.


Non-negotiables

  • You must have an iPad + pencil/stylus and be able to record screen + audio cleanly (if you need iPad, it will be provided for in-office candidates)
  • You must be able to teach in Hindi + English mix (like real coaching classroom style)
  • Strong clarity of explanation + structured teaching style

Eligibility (at least one)

  • Cleared at least one aptitude-heavy exam stage such as:
    • CSAT UPSC Prelims , JEE , BITSAT , CAT (or equivalent)
  • If you haven’t given UPSC: you should be able to adapt fast to UPSC CSAT style (time-bound, elimination, exam temperament)
  • Open to students of IITs, BITS, IIMs as well.

What you will teach: UPSC CSAT Syllabus (Paper II)

You will cover CSAT topics broadly across:

1) Reading Comprehension (3-5 lesson - less priority for now)

  • Passages (fact-based + inference-based)
  • Tone, intent, central idea
  • Assumptions, conclusions
  • Basic English comprehension skills relevant to UPSC

2) Reasoning & Mental Ability (7-10 lessons - prioritised after Maths

syllabus)

  • Logical reasoning (statements & conclusions, assumptions, arguments)
  • Analytical reasoning, puzzles
  • Syllogism, inequalities (basic)
  • Blood relations, direction sense
  • Coding-decoding, series
  • Seating arrangement, ranking, order

3) Basic Numeracy & Data Interpretation (Class X level) (Key focus - 20-25

lessons)

  • Number system, percentages, ratio-proportion
  • Averages, profit-loss, SI/CI
  • Time & work, time-speed-distance
  • Algebra basics, linear equations
  • Geometry & mensuration basics
  • Tables, graphs, charts (DI)

(We’ll provide question sources + structure guidance; you bring teaching clarity.)


Responsibilities

  • Create CSAT concept lessons + question-solving videos (audio + iPad)
  • Teach with an exam-first approach: shortcuts, elimination, speed + accuracy
  • Keep videos crisp, structured, and student-friendly
  • Coordinate with our team for topic list, pacing, and feedback
  • Deliver content as per agreed weekly plan (high consistency)

Deliverables (example format)

  • 20–40 min lessons as per plan recorded by iPad screen recording. No face required.
  • Mix of concept + practice + PYQ-style questions
  • Clear audio, clean handwriting, and step-by-step explanation
