Overview
The Water's Edge Country Club is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher is responsible for general cleanliness of the main kitchen dish area and other Food and Beverage kitchen prep areas. Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, china equipment, flatware and glassware.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dish area, kitchen, and back-of-house workspaces.
- Properly store clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and supplies in designated areas.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen floors to ensure a safe, clean, and slip-free environment.
- Empty trash and recycling, replace liners, break down boxes, and remove debris from kitchen areas.
- Clean and maintain dish machines, sinks, shelves, walk-ins, refrigerators, storage areas, and other kitchen equipment according to established cleaning schedules.
- Inspect dishware, glassware, and utensils for cleanliness and report damaged items or equipment concerns to management.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow all sanitation, safety, and personal hygiene standards.
- Monitor and restock dishwashing supplies, including detergents, sanitizers, paper products, and cleaning materials.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, and other support duties as assigned.
- Support service staff by prioritizing cleaning needs during peak service periods.
- Follow all club policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Report accidents, injuries, equipment malfunctions, or unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• High School diploma or GED. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
Licenses and Special Requirements
• Food safety certification.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous repetitive motions.
• Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
Salary Range
USD $12.80 - USD $13.00 /Hr.
