The Heavy Equipment Operator operates various heavy and light motorized equipment and vehicles as part of the Village's maintenance program. Responsible for running equipment to clear snow, base course, dirt work and other functions of the Street maintenance crew. Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating equipment and helping other employees in the construction, maintenance, and repair of pavements, installing parking lots, curbs, culverts, and gutters, dirt and gravel streets, street cleaning activities, sidewalks, drains, and a variety of miscellaneous labor assignments of a public works nature.
