UGL provides engineering, construction, and maintenance services across industries including oil and gas, power, renewables, resources, water, defence, and telecommunications, in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGCFR) Project is a major South East Queensland infrastructure program that will transform rail travel between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Delivered by the ActivUs Alliance, the project will increase the corridor from two to four tracks between Kuraby and Beenleigh and significantly upgrade stations, systems, and community connectivity.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in providing engineering and delivery Signalling expertise in the design and delivery of the project
- Liaise with Project Manager to ensure the Project is on schedule & with all stakeholders on all relevant technical aspects of the project.
- Participating in design reviews in a collaborative team environment & make recommendation
- Be the point of contact for technical support
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with the Rail Signalling Industry
- Qualified Engineer
- Queensland Rail Engineering Statement of Competency will be preferred but not essential
- Experience in reviewing design documentation, providing constructive critic (‘constructability’ input) and implementing final designs.
