UGL Transport are looking for a Pre-Contracts Manager - this role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and this role will be working across a number of different projects/contracts
Key Responsibilities
As Pre-Contracts Manager you will report to the Senior Commercial Manager and
work closely with bid and legal teams to support conversion of tendering
opportunities by:
- Lead the development of commercial deliverables for submission of
expression of interests and tender ensuring they are competitive, accurate,
and profitable;
- ensure tender submissions align with UGLT policies, including conducting
risk assessments of contract terms and conditions;
- Input into commercial advice and recommendations to bid and senior
management teams;
- Develop procurement strategies for subcontract packages and negotiating
terms;
- Negotiating contract terms, conditions, and departures with clients, JV
partners, and key subcontractor packages.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of proven, extensive experience in contracts management, specifically
within pre-contracts/bidding.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management, or Business.
Strong negotiation skills, deep understanding of contracts, and the ability to
influence stakeholders.
