Senior Underwriter, International Brokers, Hong Kong Distribution Division

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the role is to develop the business from assigned International Brokers’ accounts and you will be responsible for contributing to the overall business growth.

Job Duties

• Reviewing allocated cases and delivering underwriting decisions, following agreed processes at the designated authority level to secure profitable business within the agreed risk appetite.
• Building and maintaining relationships within assigned accounts.
• Taking proactive approach to understand the customers thoroughly and be able to provide customised solutions based on their needs.
• Proactively identifying and pursuing up-selling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise profitable revenue potential from new and renewal business and achieving agreed business targets.
• Managing customer interactions in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
• Working closely with finance and collection team to resolve discrepancies and streamline payment processes. Proactively engage with clients regarding payment timelines and outstanding balances, fostering relationships to encourage timely payments.
• Involving in ad-hoc projects as required.
