With supervisor approval, incumbents may be eligible for intermittent remote work; however, they must physically reside within the Sacramento region or have the ability to regularly report to a City of Sacramento physical worksite with little notice. This position is within the Department of Public Works, Development Engineering division. The Senior Engineer will serve as the project manager and civil plan reviewer for complex private development projects coordinating with other city review staff, the design engineer, owner, and executive team as necessary to approve off-site, public improvement plans for construction.
