Our clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and CT, to ensure the highest standard of care. Our team is passionate, skilled, and committed to maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to animal health and welfare, possess excellent technical skills, and have a strong ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with avian, exotic, and reptile patients, in addition to traditional companion animals.
Here is What Your day May Consist of:
- Assist veterinarians in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of animals.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Perform diagnostic blood, urine and fecal testing.
- Intravenous catheter placement.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures.
- Perform diagnostics using radiographs and CT scans.
- Provide nursing care and post-operative care for animals.
- Educate and counsel pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health care.
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician in a clinical setting.
- Strong technical skills, including laboratory work, radiology, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to animal welfare.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
