For the Corporate Functions of IMA S.p.A. , we are looking for aProduction Hub Engineer.

Location: Ozzano dell'Emilia (Bologna, Italy)

JOB SUMMARY

• Support the integration of newly acquired companies into the Group by aligning procedures, working methods, and supplier networks.
• Liaise with manufacturing sites to plan and oversee the implementation of strategies and guidelines defined by Corporate Management.
• Conduct on-site visits to ensure that production methods and processes are implemented according to Group standards.
• Coordinate and plan production activities and procurement processes in line with headquarters' directives, facilitating the transition of the supply chain into the Group's approved supplier base.
• Analyze existing and future machine bills of materials (BOMs) with a focus on cost optimization, identifying, evaluating, and engaging both new and existing suppliers.
• Perform both operational analyses (inventory levels, stock management, batch sizing) and manufacturing/engineering analyses related to technologies, production processes, methods, and cycle times.
• Prepare reports on completed activities and future projects, presenting findings and recommendations through professional presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote).
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments and functions to share knowledge, best practices, and information gathered from different sites and business units.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Management Engineering.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT

• Knowledge of a second foreign language.
• Previous experience in manufacturing companies and/or project management roles.

The starting gross annual salary will be € 36.000, under the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalmeccanica Industria, with the possibility of increase based on the candidate’s experience and skills, in accordance with objective and gender-neutral criteria.
