THE JOB
The VP – Client Solutions,
you will be responsible for leading the integrated
media, content and
technology services of your assigned business unit. You will be
responsible for fostering strong relationships with key client stakeholders, providing strategic guidance to clients and agency teams, and ensuring
the successful execution of campaigns across all service pillars (media, content and technology).
You will also be closely supporting the agency leadership team by ensuring operational excellence and client profitability through
efficiently allocating resources, streamlining processes and systems across your
unit and brand portfolio. This
role requires a blend of client management, business development, technical skills, and team leadership skills. A key
expectation is to ensure operational excellence and profitability
by allocating resources, adapting and optimizing process and
systems across your scope.

Measures of success
In three months:
- To establish your leadership stance among key stakeholders both on the client and agency side
- Gained a full understanding of the clients' business along with the internal and external process
- To translate the client’s needs into clear direction and leadership for all Wavemaker
and GroupM resources working on the account
- To become completely familiar with the client’s IMC, Performance Marketing and E-Commerce strategy
and plans, planning process, the marketing calendar, and the needs of key
stakeholders
In six months:
- Reviewed
and refined the agency’s IMC, Performance Marketing and E-Commerce planning
frameworks,
while constantly proposing strategies to optimize E-commerce campaigns to reach their full potential (i.e. GMV
and ROAS targets)
- Further developed local relationships across the agencies and with key Digital and E-Commerce platform partners
- Effectively identified and pitched for organic business growth opportunities for client
In 12 months:
- Developed a roadmap for the next 1 to 3 years to strengthen the agency’s engagement with the client
- A firm grasp of all of Wavemaker’s products and services across all pillars
- Delivered on the Client and Business KPIs to drive client satisfaction and retention
Skills and
Experience:
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills and
Attitude):
You must be a technically sound media and digital expert who can
adapt easily from the communication strategy to the hard-core performance
optimization space where you will have a broad media knowledge, including
relevant experience of helping solve and propose digital, data and technology
solutions.
Effective stakeholder relationship management will also be a key part
of this role. Our executive leadership team must be onside and supportive of
your vision on your businesses.
You must positively provoke our client to elicit
information and be a coach to the client to develop lasting solutions to
complex business issues beyond short-term. Actively pursues different
perspectives and ideas to build new and alternative solutions.
A commercial
understanding of the business is critical to drive the profitability of the
business. In addition, a strong self-starter who is able to build their own
work plan and deliver the key milestones of the work plan with
independence.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Has a proven track-record in building strong client
relationships at a range of levels. They will also be able to demonstrate
experience of and skill at connecting and influencing internal stakeholders in
a professional and effective way.
