Job Title : QA Officer

Reporting to Title : General Manager - Head of Digital & Transverse

Main Objectives and Activities:

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Officer to oversee and participate in quality assurance activities for our multi-country corporate banking solution. The role includes designing test plans, executing tests, and supporting banks during user acceptance testing (UAT).

Responsibilities/ Job Description:

• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for new corporate banking solutions, projects, and change requests.
• Document software defects using Jira and TFS, and report them to software developers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders—including the BRED IT development team, business representatives, and software vendors—to resolve defects affecting projects and change requests.
• Monitor defect-resolution efforts and track progress and outcomes.
• Manage and maintain test data, including data anonymization.
• Perform initial analysis and debugging by reviewing configuration files, logs, and code snippets to identify the source of failures.
• Support and coordinate UAT activities during release cycles.
• Ensure all tests are conducted and documented according to standards agreed upon by the business unit and IT.
• Contribute to the development of automated testing tools.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Language skills:

• Good command of written and spoken English.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum two years of experience in a similar IT position.
• Experience with Jira and Xray for test management, traceability, and defect tracking.
• Experience with Cypress and Codex for automated testing.
• Experience in REST APIs and Postman for API testing and validation.
• Experience in Manual testing for the new features.
• Experience in defect analysis, with a logical mindset and strong deductive-reasoning skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and work hands-on with systems to provide technical support.
• Effective communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills for interacting with bank management, vendors, and technical teams.
• Ability to prioritize work, perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate agility in day-to-day activities.
