We’re looking for an experienced Seafood Auditor to join our team on a full- time basis.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be out working with processors, suppliers, and facilities - making sure products are responsibly sourced, traceable, and meet recognised certification standards. You’ll play a key role in protecting product integrity and helping clients improve how they operate.

If you enjoy working independently, travelling, and applying technical expertise in real-world environments - this could be a great fit.

  • Plan and deliver Chain of Custody audits across schemes such as MSC, ASC, MarinTrust, GLOBALG.A.P. and CSI
  • Assess client operations for compliance, identifying risks and areas for improvement
  • Produce clear audit reports, including non-conformities and follow-up actions
  • Communicate findings professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Manage audit schedules efficiently and meet reporting timelines
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of certification schemes and requirements
  • Participate in witness audits, peer reviews, and internal calibration activities
  • Support a strong safety and compliance culture in all activities

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Biology, Aquaculture, or similar
  • 3+ years auditing experience, ideally within food supply chains or Chain of Custody schemes
  • Lead Auditor qualification (or working towards it)
  • Strong understanding of seafood processing, trading, or logistics
  • Solid report writing and analytical skills
  • Confidence working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Excellent communication skills when working with clients and stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel (both regionally and internationally)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with certification bodies or specific schemes (MSC, MarinTrust, CSI, etc.)
  • Additional languages

Why join us?

We’re a global organisation focused onimproving human and planet health , working across food, water, and life sciences. You’ll be part of a collaborative international team, doing work that genuinely matters — with the flexibility to work remotely while staying connected to a global network.
