Commercial Training Manager

at Ep Plus Group

JOB SUMMARY

“Fuel growth. Develop talents. Transform healthcare brands. Create a competitive advantage”

Our business brings together international agency partnerships and home-grown brands, spanning Pharmaceuticals, Medical Aesthetics, Fertility Sciences, and Medical Nutrition.

The Commercial (Sales & Marketing) Trainer will play a pivotal role in developing, grooming, and retaining key commercial talents across the organization. This role is more than delivering product knowledge — it is about inspiring growth, strengthening sales capabilities, and elevating both ethical and consumer marketing skills. By fostering commercial excellence, this role ensures our teams are future-ready and equipped to drive sustainable, long-term growth.

[KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES]

  • Step beyond training : be the force that inspires growth, sharpens our teams, and drives ethical & consumer marketing to new heights.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programmes for sales & marketing teams across Pharmaceuticals, Medical Aesthetics, Fertility Sciences, and Medical Nutrition.
  • Support product launches and commercial initiatives with tailored training.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and principal partners to align on best practices.
  • Identify capability gaps and implement development programs to build stronger consumer marketing and customer engagement skills.
  • Partner with Leader-Managers to support in grooming future leaders to be ready now or ready future.

Success in this Role Looks Like…

  • Sales & marketing teams feel more confident, capable, and engaged after your training.
  • A culture of continuous learning and growth is embedded across commercial teams.
  • Teams demonstrate stronger consumer marketing capabilities — translating strategies into effective customer engagement and execution excellence
  • New product launches are supported with smooth onboarding and impactful training, driving faster adoption.
  • You are recognized as a trusted coach and mentor who helps people unlock their potential
  • Key talents are identified, groomed, and retained, strengthening our future leadership pipeline.
  • Capability gaps are proactively addressed, with measurable improvements in sales performance and brand impact.

[KEY CHALLENGES]

Diverse Product Portfolio

  • Balancing training across Pharmaceuticals, Medical Aesthetics, Fertility Sciences, and Medical Nutrition, each with different customer expectations, regulations, and selling approaches.

Consumer Marketing Capability

  • Many pharma-trained teams may be stronger at HCP engagement with lesser focus in consumer-facing marketing and digital engagement. Strengthening our capabilities in consumer marketing will be critical.

Measuring Impact

  • Demonstrating the real impact of training (skills uplift, sales improvement, talent retention), not just running sessions for the sake of it.

Retention & Talent Development

  • Partner Leader-Managers in identifying key talents early and keeping them motivated in a competitive healthcare job market.

We want to find an individual that has/is

  • Strong passion for developing people and enabling their success.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or training (pharma/healthcare/nutrition background preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Commitment to building consumer marketing excellence in a fast-evolving healthcare landscape.
  • Proven Ability to coach, inspire, and engage teams at different levels.
  • A Creative mindset with strong communication and facilitation skills.

[KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE]

Knowledge

  • Sales & Marketing fundamentals, ideally in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, nutrition, or FMCG.
  • Basic understanding of consumer marketing principles (customer insights, brand positioning, consumer behavior).
  • Awareness of the healthcare environment , including ethical promotion and compliance, is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify gaps, inspire growth, and nurture talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse teams.
  • Adaptability and creativity in problem-solving through collaboration.
  • Comfort with digital tools and e-learning platforms.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or training (healthcare or consumer industry preferred).
  • Exposure to customer-facing roles such as sales rep, product specialist, or marketing executive.
  • Experience in leading cross functional projects.
  • Hands-on involvement in consumer engagement or brand-building activities is an advantage.
