Determine eligibility for, and manage, a caseload for economic assistance including, but not limited to SNAP, various Medicaid programs, Emergency Assistance/LIEAP, and School Clothing Vouchers. Learn to adeptly use department software to administer to a demanding caseload. Comprehend and adhere to complex policy regarding eligibility and issuance of benefits. Learn to conduct interviews with clients. Train how to analyze financial and social information. May obtain repayment for economic assistance issued erroneously. Perform related work as required.
