About This
Role
The Development Manager is
responsible for leading a team of engineers while also contributing directly
to code and architecture. This role is 50% people management and 50% hands-on
technical work. The manager will partner closely with product management to
define and execute the roadmap, maintain legacy applications, and help
architect a new application using modern technologies.
What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering growth and performance

Collaborate with the product owner to manage and deliver on the product roadmap

Guide architectural decisions for a new application

Maintain and improve legacy PHP applications
-
Write and review code, primarily in .NET and React
-
Implement best practices in CI/CD and cloud-based development
-
Ensure high quality, scalable, and maintainable software delivery
What You’ll Bring
-
5–10 years in a lead or senior engineering role
-
5–6 years of experience with .NET
-
4–5 years of experience with AWS
-
2–3 years of experience with React
-
Strong experience with SQL Server
-
Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop engineering teams
-
Experience working with Agile methodologies
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have

Experience with PHP
-
Mobile development experience, iOS or Android

Experience in the payments industry
-
Familiarity with React Native
-
Prior B2B SaaS experience supporting large customer bases
-
Interest or experience in rock climbing or the gym industry
