What You’ll Need:
- Proven Experience: VDOT inspection experience, including knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction.
- Certification Savvy: VDOT certifications in soil and aggregate, asphalt, concrete, pavement marking, and more.
- Strong Work Ethic: A dedication to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
Required Certifications:
- VDOT Soil and Aggregate Field Compaction
- VDOT Asphalt Field
- VDOT Hydraulic Cement Concrete Field (ACI Concrete Field Tech Grade I)
- VDOT Pavement Marking
- VDOT Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Certification for Erosion and Sediment Control Inspection; DEQ preferred
- VDOT Nuclear Gauge Safety Training
- VDOT Full Depth Reclamation
- VDOT Guardrail
- VDOT Intermediate Work Zone Safety Training
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction
