Commercial Operations Specialist

at Advanced Supply Chain Group


Role Purpose

The Commercial Operations Specialist is responsible for executing pricing, quotation, and commercial analysis activities to support high- quality, profitable deal outcomes.

The role ensures that:

  • Every deal is accurately priced, clearly structured, and commercially transparent
  • Standard processes, tools, and governance are applied consistently
  • Sales teams are enabled with fast, reliable, and structured commercial support

The role operates within the Commercial Operations framework, contributing to ReBound’s goal that every deal is:

  • Standardised where possible
  • Governed where required
  • Profitable by design

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Commercial Modelling

  • Develop pricing models and quotations for standard and non-standard opportunities.
  • Perform commercial and financial analysis to support deal structuring.
  • Create clear deal summaries including assumptions, risks, revenue, and margin impact.
  • Maintain pricing tools, templates, and quotation standards.

Commercial Deal Support

  • Partner with Sales to translate customer requirements into commercially viable proposals.
  • Coordinate with Product, Finance, Legal, and Operations to gather commercial inputs.
  • Support governed approval processes through accurate and complete commercial documentation.

Profitability & Performance Analysis

  • Support profitability assessments for prospective and existing business.
  • Perform pricing reviews and commercial recalculations with suggested price adjustments (does not include writing addendums for agreed prices with clients)
  • Identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities through data analysis.

Reporting & Commercial Insights

  • Maintain CRM data quality and integrity.
  • Produce recurring and ad-hoc sales and commercial performance reports.
  • Support forecasting and pipeline analysis through accurate data and insights.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the development of self-service pricing tools and standardised ways of working.
  • Drive improvements in commercial processes, templates, reporting, and governance execution.
  • Support automation and efficiency initiatives across the commercial organisation.

What the Role Does NOT Cover

  • Ownership of deal approvals or governance decisions (Team Lead / Head)
  • Direct client ownership or lead sales activity
  • Creation of sales decks, demos, or prospecting support
  • Ownership of pricing strategy or frameworks (Head / Team Lead)
  • Creation of legal documents and solution designs

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Ideal Profile (Summary)

  • Experience in Sales Ops, Commercial Ops, Pricing, Finance, or Analytics
  • Strong analytical and numerical problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with pricing models, data, and financial concepts
  • High attention to detail with a structured way of working
  • Ability to translate complexity into clear and practical outputs
