Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital. The hospital has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls and northwest section of Philadelphia communities for more than a century, having first opened its doors in 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospitals School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation's oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency.
Responsibilities
The Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) or Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS) working in Hyperbaric department is responsible for assisting the Medical Director, medical staff and registered nurses with the assessment, treatment and education of patients in an advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy center. The Certified Hyperbaric Technologist/Specialist assists in the provision of safe and therapeutic management of patient care to an assigned group of patients in adherence to the Standards of Practice and policies and procedures and in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Maintenance of CHT/CHS qualifying credential (or certification within 12 months of hire in case not certified by the time of employment).

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate

One year clinical experience in Outpatient Wound Center preferred.4. EMT/Paramedics, Active Duty Corpsmen, diver medical technicians preferred.
