Kennel Assistant - Full-Time

Are you passionate about animal care and looking for a rewarding career in veterinary medicine? Join our amazing team as our newest Kennel Assistant! We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking individual who loves caring for pets and thrives in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

As a Kennel Assistant, you’ll play an important role in providing exceptional care to our hospitalized patients and boarding pets while supporting our veterinary team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

  • Provide daily care for hospitalized patients and boarding pets
  • Feed, water, and monitor pets for comfort and well-being
  • Walk dogs and assist with exercise and enrichment activities
  • Bathe pets and maintain cleanliness and hygiene
  • Clean kennels, treatment areas, laundry, and hospital spaces
  • Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or health concerns
  • Safely handle dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
  • Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary hospital environment

What You'll Bring:

  • Passion for animal care and client service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary or boarding environment
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and working around animals throughout the day
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Previous kennel, boarding, daycare, or veterinary experience is a plus, but not required
