Contract Technical Assistant (Building Services)

Qualification and Experience:

a)Diploma or Higher Certificate in either Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic / Polytechnic University or an institute of vocational education or equivalent;

b)Experience in AutoCAD drafting, preparation of building services drawings, carrying out design calculation together with good knowledge of statutory Regulations and Code of Practices relating to building services trades.

c)Possession of good knowledge in personal computer applications is preferred.

Duties

The CTA(BS) will be seconded to the Hong Kong Housing Authority to assist the CM in all drawing-related management, coordinate between different disciplines, liaise with various professionals and contractors, resolve on- site technical problems, ensure that all drawing records are accurately maintained and assist with the research of building services materials for use in the contract and where applicable, their costs and sources of supply and perform other duties as directed by the CM.

Place of Duty

Successful candidate will be seconded to Housing Department (HD) and work in HD's office.
