Position Summary

The Clerk II (Information Resource Management Intern) supports Information Resource Management (IRM) Education and Outreach Coordinator by assisting with administrative coordination, records and document management, data entry, reporting, and general operational support. This role helps maintain organized files, track requests, update information accurately, and support day-to-day processes that improve team efficiency and service delivery. The intern may also be assigned tasks related to in-person and virtual events, training, and conferences, including logistics, coordination, and administrative support.

Performs a broad range of clerical work in support of one or a variety of business functions, which may include opening and sorting mail, compiling and tabulating data, answering phones, checking documents for accuracy, transporting documents, and maintaining files. Performs complex (journey- level) work, under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.

· Provides administrative support to the Information Resource Management team, including scheduling, correspondence, and general office coordination.

· Maintains, organizes, and updates records, files, spreadsheets, and other departmental documents to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

· Assists with data entry, tracking requests, and preparing routine reports to support team operations and decision-making.

· Supports day-to-day business processes by monitoring assignments, following up on tasks, and helping ensure timely completion of deliverables.

· Assists with planning and coordinating in-person and virtual events, trainings, meetings, and conferences, including logistics and materials preparation.

· Responds to internal inquiries and provides customer service and administrative assistance to staff, stakeholders, and program participants as needed.

· Supports IRM initiatives, special projects, and operational needs.

· Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
