We’re hiring a Global Payroll Specialist to help build and scale payroll as Legora continues to grow internationally. Working closely with our Global Payroll Manager, you’ll help ensure payroll runs smoothly across multiple countries while also shaping the processes, controls, and ways of working that will support our continued expansion.
This is not a role where you’ll spend most of your time processing payroll yourself. Instead, you’ll coordinate with external payroll providers, review and quality-check their work, and help improve how we work as we enter new markets. As the function develops, there will also be room to shape parts of the role based on your strengths and interests.
What You Will Be Doing

Coordinate monthly payroll cycles across multiple countries

Act as a key contact for external payroll providers

Make sure payroll is delivered accurately and on time

Carry out validations, reconciliations, and checks before payroll is finalized

Help ensure payroll follows local regulations and internal processes

Support audits by keeping documentation clear and up to date

Help build and improve payroll processes as we grow into new countries

Create clear workflows and documentation so our ways of working can scale

Work with payroll data from HiBob and ensure inputs are accurate and complete

Partner closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors

Step in as backup to the Global Payroll Manager when needed
Who You Are
What matters most is your mindset: you are curious, eager to keep learning, and excited by the opportunity to grow in a global payroll role. We are looking for someone who brings structure, ownership, and a willingness to figure things out in a fast-moving environment.
You also bring:

5+ years of payroll experience

Strong understanding of payroll controls and processes

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Comfortable working with HRIS and payroll systems
