Senior Commodity Market Analyst
at ISRI
The Recycled Materials Association (ReMA) represents more than 1,700 companies in the U.S. and around the globe who play a critical part in providing recycled materials to America’s manufacturing industries. Based in Washington, D.C., we promote safe, economically sustainable, and environmentally responsible recycling through education, networking, and advocacy.
Reporting to the Chief Economist, the SCMA serves as a key source of market intelligence for ReMA and its members. As the Chief Economist's primary partner, this role analyzes commodity markets, pricing trends, trade flows, and economic indicators across the recycled materials industry, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business decisions, advocacy efforts, and public policy. The ideal candidate enjoys digging into complex datasets, identifying market trends, and helping others understand what the numbers mean.

- Provides timely sector-specific data and analysis to support ReMA’s policy and advocacy work.
- Collaborates closely with the Chief Economist and Research team to ensure analytical consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational priorities.
