JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Works with customers, purchasing, production and engineering regarding new product releases and long term customer needs. Often prepares and manages the demand production schedule for a facility serving multiple product lines and/or customers. May directly supervise materials coordinators and/or analysts.
BasicFunctions:
- Participates in projects that influence the direction of the operation
- Manages multiple and competing demands in the area of functional responsibility and the organization
- Insures compliance to formal policies and procedures.
- Monitors trends and establishes actions for improvement.
- Provides supervision for positions within the SCM Coordinator job category
- Manage 3 Material Supervisors and 60 hourly employees

- Advanced analytical problem solving skills to determine root cause of issues
- Proposes and oversees implementation of corrective action
Experience:
- 4 – 6 years of Supply Change Management experience
- Broad based supply chain management and process development knowledge
- Strong leadership / planning / negotiation / problem solving / delegation and presentation skills
- PC software knowledge & skills. Strong financial skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
