Medical Assistant Under the supervision of the Nurse Practitioner and Reproductive Health Program Manager, the Medical Assistant will be responsible for day to day interactions with patients throughout various outreach efforts in the Detroit area. Responsibilities include: registering patients by gathering patient’s demographic information, insurance, consents, and confidentially agreements. Additionally, the Medical Assistant collects patient’s medical history, records patient’s vital signs, and assists medical staff with rendering of clinical tests and procedures including the insertion and removal of long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARC).
