Team Leader, TPL

Responsibilities:

  1. Assign technicians to processing tasks to ensure all tissues are processed appropriately.
  2. Dissect, process and document cardiovascular allografts.
  3. Inspect, identify, describe, and document allograft attributes for cardiovascular tissues
  4. Evaluate allografts for acceptance per allograft quality specifications.
  5. Document allograft attributes.
  6. Perform sterile and non-sterile duties for aseptic transfers.
  7. Perform any tissue processing activities as needed.
  8. Produce complete and accurate documentation/labeling for above functions.
  9. Perform all functions within Artivion SOP compliance.
  10. Complete appropriate training records prior to performing associated functions.
  11. Assist with training newer technicians.
  12. Perform Technical Review of processing records and graft records.
  13. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. One year tissue processing experience as a Cardiac or Vascular Dissector or equivalent.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  3. Good verbal communication skills.
  4. Excellent time management skills.
  5. Demonstrates ability to organize tasks and manage multiple tasks to completion.
  6. Ability to direct technicians and answer processing related questions.
  7. Ability to meet processing requirements for tissue equivalents and quarterly processing yields.
  8. Ability to maintain acceptable dissection and allograft quality feedback rates.
  9. Ability to maintain acceptable technician error rates and acceptable documentation quality rates.
  10. Able to work the required schedule: Friday - Sunday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM.
