Summer Camp Team Lead (Seasonal)

ADEC has a Summer Camp Team Lead position available for both our Elkhart and Mishawaka Summer Camp. The Summer Camp Team Lead plays a key part in creating a fun and engaging camp experience that offers campers new experiences and opportunities to enhance social skills and independence.
The Position
The Summer Camp Team Lead assists with day-to-day program leadership, planning and leading camp and community activities, ensuring quality services and implementation of client person centered individual support plans (PCISP).
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing and documenting progress on each client's Person-Centered Individual Support Plan (PCISP)

Plan and lead camp-based and community-based activities, keep activities on schedule for the day

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, audit, and operational standards, including ADEC policies and procedures.

Assist with personal care - bathroom needs, toileting, cleaning, and changing

Complete waiver billing and all required documentation accurately and timely.

Serve as a positive role model and support to campers and fellow team members.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience with teaching techniques, behavior management, or supporting individuals with severe disabilities preferred.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record and proof of auto insurance.

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Must pass criminal background check and have a negative drug screen

Mandatory full program hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m.
June 8 - August 5, 2026
