@Orchard LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a highly visible NOAA program. This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Project Manager provides subject matter expertise in ocean technology and the marine environment while coordinating collaborative projects involving NOAA laboratories, universities, and cooperative institutes. This position supports programmatic planning, partnership development, and coordination of funding opportunities related to research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as technical subject matter expert in marine science and technology.
- Coordinate partnerships with NOAA laboratories, universities, and cooperative institutes.
- Support development and coordination of project plans and collaborative initiatives.
- Assist with preparation and submission of Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs) and Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs).
- Support various document and administrative actions concerning IAAs, MOUs, spend plan formulation, budget tracking, funds distribution, grants, Cooperative Institute task orders for approve projects and serve as point of contact (POC) for project reporting.
- Track project status, deliverables, and funding allocations.
- Coordinate communications among partner institutions.
- Monitor progress of funded projects and ensure documentation and reporting requirements are met.
- Support strategic planning for future research initiatives.
