Manager – Credit Control

Drive performance improvements, optimize working capital, and enhance processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining robust internal controls and audit readiness.
Core Responsibilities:

Oversee Accounts Receivable, credit control, and collections to ensure timely cash conversion and adherence to credit policy.

Optimize working capital metrics (DSO, ageing, cash conversion cycle).

Ensure proper provisioning (ECL / bad debts) in line with IFRS and group policy.

Review and manage customer credit limits, payment terms, and high-risk exposures.
-
Drive effective collections strategy and resolution of customer disputes.
-
Maintain audit readiness, including documentation and timely closure of audit observations.
-
Act as key finance interface with Commercial, Operations, Treasury, and Legal teams.

Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities in line with Corporate Finance and ADQ deadlines.

Lead complex negotiations and directly manage relationships with top-tier delinquent customers to secure payment plans or leg.
People Management Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop teams for the credit control function.

Set clear KPIs and monitor team performance.
-
Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and key external counterparts (customers, vendors, and third parties).

Foster strong collaboration across Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Procurement teams

Ensure adequate segregation of duties and promote a strong control and compliance culture

Strategic Responsibilities:

Develop and implement working capital optimization strategies to improve liquidity and cash flow.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and digital transformation (e.g., collections, cash application).

Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Procurement to improve contract terms, billing accuracy, and collection cycles.

Strengthen credit policy implementation and support enhancements to risk management frameworks.
-
Support finance transformation initiatives aligned with Group strategy.
-
Act as a key contributor to financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow strategy.al settlements.
Educational and Technical Qualifications:|
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any relevant. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Chartered accountancy qualifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA is a plus

Years of Experience:| Minimum of 6-8 years in a similar role (or experience in
relevant function)
