Our Actuation facility in Chanhassen, MN is looking for an Assembler to join their team! At Curtiss Wright, we specialize in in the design, engineering and manufacturing of electro-mechanical actuators. This role supports the assembly of electro-mechanical actuators in accordance with established blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality standards. The position requires attention to detail, precision, and adherence to production schedules to ensure all products meet Curtiss-Wright’s high standards of quality and reliability. This position provides a challenging and dynamic work environment. Our Chanhassen facility is a temperature controlled and conveniently located.
Location: Chanhassen, MN
Hourly rate: $19.00 to $23.00

Your Challenge

Utilizing process and drawing instructions, blueprints, specialized tooling, fixtures, measuring equipment and hand tools.

Follow quality requirements/ quality assurance standards, processes, and controls and identifying and communicating occurrences of non-compliance / non-conformance.

Participating in process and quality improvement activities.

Performing assembly-type functions using hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.

Commitment to following company safety and operational procedures.

Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

Performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What You Bring
-
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
-
Comfortable using hands held power tools, manufacturing machines and test equipment to perform product assembly.
-
Mechanical aptitude.
-
Experience reading drawings.
-
Basic computer navigation and documentation skills.

Frequent standing.
-
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
-
Flexibility to work overtime & weekends as business needs require.

Must be a US Person.
