at Beechcraft

What you will be doing as an Avionics Technician - Go Team:

In this role, you can expect to test, troubleshoot, and repair advanced avionics systems directly on aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center. You’ll travel within your assigned region to support customers while staying rooted at your home service center when not on the road. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, precision, and seeing their work take flight. Shift is 3x12 Wednesday thru Friday days.

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

· Advanced Avionics Troubleshooting & Repair: Lead complex functional testing, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and modification of avionics and electrical systems using FAA‑approved procedures and technical documentation

· Final System Testing & Certification: Perform final avionics and electrical system testing, ensure FCC compliance for all transmitting and receiving equipment, and sign aircraft logbook releases under an FAA Repairman Certificate

· In‑Flight Diagnostics & Validation: Diagnose discrepancies using in‑flight data and customer feedback, take corrective action, and accompany pilots on functional test flights as required to verify system performance

· Technical Leadership & Crew Guidance: Act as crew lead for teams of up to five technicians, guiding troubleshooting efforts and mentoring lower‑level technicians through complex avionics issues

· Customer Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Partner directly with customers to explain avionics discrepancies, provide clear technical debriefs, and resolve concerns with professionalism and sound judgment

· Aircraft Documentation & Blueprint Interpretation: Execute work from aircraft orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and vendor data to ensure precise, compliant installations and repairs
