Job Description

Role Purpose

The Sr. Strategy Manager will serve as a core strategic intelligence & insight partner, providing senior leadership with real-time strategic insights to inform long-term strategic direction , expand near-term decision options , and shape company China strategy.

This role will build a holistic view on China macro dynamics, global perspectives on China market, China pharmaceutical market dynamics, competitive intelligence , monitoring these trends and translating into clear strategic implications, options, and recommendations for China.

Key Responsibilities

1. China Macro Dynamics & Global Perspectives on China market

  • Monitor China macro dynamics, and identify potential opportunities and risks for our company

2. China Pharmaceutical Industry & Long‑Term Strategy Insight

  • Track and analyze China Pharmaceutical Industry trends , develop a holistic, forward‑looking view in close partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Synthesize disparate signals into clear strategic narratives

3. China Pharmaceutical Industry & Long‑Term Strategy Insight

  • Monitor strategic movements of leading pharmaceutical/biotech players
  • Translate competitor activity into actionable strategic implications, risks, and opportunities for China

4. China Pharmaceutical Industry & Long‑Term Strategy Insight

  • Analyze annual and quarterly performance results
  • Communicate concise insights on implications to China

5. China Pharmaceutical Industry & Long‑Term Strategy Insight

  • Integrate insights across macro trends, industry dynamics, competitor intelligence into a coherent strategic view
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to leadership on evolving strategic topics

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or related field; MBA or equivalent business training preferred
  • 6–10+ years of experience in pharma strategy, consulting, corporate strategy, or commercial excellence
  • Strong understanding of China pharma market dynamics and MNC operating models
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear executive insights
