Associate Producer - Washington DC

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather and organize video, sound bites, graphics, and other production elements.
- Collaborate with anchors, control room staff, and graphics departments to execute segments.
- Produce well-researched and thoughtfully structured interview segments with guests, both in studio and remote.
- Manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Pitch timely, creative, and original segment ideas aligned with the editorial direction of the show.
- Write and edit scripts, interview questions, banners, and segment materials.
- Track and monitor breaking news and quickly develop content aligned with a conservative lens.
- Adapt rapidly to shifting priorities in a dynamic live-television environment.
- Use sound editorial judgment and attention to detail to ensure standards.

Position Requirements:
- At least 3 years of national or large market local TV news production experience.
- Substantial control room and breaking news experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of current events and politics from a conservative perspective.
- Familiarity with creating full-screen graphics for broadcast.
- Experience editing with Adobe Premiere or similar platforms.
- Basic animation or motion graphics experience.
- Excellent writing, editing, and news-gathering abilities.
- Ability to research effectively using editorial tools and social media platforms.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically and creatively under pressure.
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in our Washington DC office.
- Ability to collect and analyze data and information for accuracy.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, overnights, holidays, and weekends.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
