Job Summary:

The Field Sales Manager (FSM) is responsible for leading, developing, and producing results through a field-based sales team, with a primary focus on storm restoration and retail exterior sales. This role is highly hands-on, requiring consistent field presence, direct selling activity, and lead-by- example coaching.

The FSM recruits, trains, and manages high-performing sales representatives while actively participating in neighborhood canvassing, inspections, customer meetings, and deal closing. Success is measured daily through KPIs, revenue production, team development, and the delivery of 5-star customer experiences.

General Responsibilities:

Sales Performance & Revenue Execution

  • Drive territory sales performance through direct field sales activity and team production
  • Execute storm and retail sales strategies aligned with GM and regional priorities
  • Establish individual sales quotas and track performance against KPIs
  • Assign and prioritize leads to optimize conversion and customer experience
  • Develop and implement targeted, neighborhood-level sales strategies following storm activity
  • Lead person-to-person lead generation through canvassing and direct customer engagement

Field Leadership & Lead-by-Example Selling

  • Maintain a strong field presence inspecting properties, canvassing neighborhoods, meeting customers, and closing deals
  • Demonstrate Elite selling techniques, inspection standards, and customer engagement best practices
  • Mentor sales representatives in real-time through in-field coaching and ride-alongs
  • Reinforce consistent execution of sales processes, messaging, and brand standards

Sales Team Development & Coaching

  • Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing sales representatives
  • Train sales team members on products, selling systems, and operational workflows
  • Deliver ongoing classroom and in-field training focused on skill development and performance improvement
  • Conduct regular performance assessments, provide actionable feedback, and implement improvement plans
  • Lead team meetings, trainings, and motivational sessions to drive engagement and results

Process, Technology & KPI Accountability

  • Ensure disciplined use of Elite CRM and sales systems across the team
  • Monitor sales activity, pipeline health, and customer communications for quality and compliance
  • Use dashboards and KPIs to identify performance gaps and coach accordingly
  • Hold sales representatives accountable to process adherence, data accuracy, and follow-through

Customer Experience & Brand Representation

  • Ensure every customer interaction reflects Elite standards and results in a 5-star experience
  • Monitor sales team communication with customers to ensure professionalism and consistency
  • Address customer issues or escalations in partnership with the General Manager
  • Represent Elite professionally in the field and local communities

Administrative & Budget Oversight

  • Manage assigned sales budgets and control company-related employee purchases
  • Complete required reporting, documentation, and administrative responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of sales objectives
