Social Worker, Senior - Expanded Response Team

Hennepin County's Behavioral Health area is seeking to hire a Senior Social Worker (SSW) to be part of the Expanded Response Team (ERT). The ERT team includes two Social Workers that will respond in real time to urgent 911 calls. The team will be embedded in the Brooklyn Center Police Department and dispatched by the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center. The ERT team will respond to a variety of call types in which the 911 caller defines as urgent, and which the dispatcher and/or responding officer does not flag as potentially violent or involving weapons, in addition to mobile crisis team requested calls.
