Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of ground-breaking thinking and visionary goals. As a Senior Manager – L&D, you'll take the lead as you:
Team Member Supervision and Development: Supervises Client Engagement teams across various pyramids/ business units. Delegates and distributes work; trains and coaches for performance; helps coordinate and set priorities for various activities. Ensures all deadlines are met in a timely fashion. Obtains necessary resources for the team’s success. Ensures Training is meeting client expectations through coordination of training programs and projects that have organizational impact.
Program Development and Execution: Works with Trainers to design and develop new (and update existing) training content based on organizational changes, system changes/updates, and client feedback. Identifies gaps in training content.
** Communication/Client Service:** Provides responsive communication to clients, Team HR, HQ, and support groups. Provides strategic direction to Trainers. Works closely with L&D at Target HQ to support best methods.
** Consulting:** Plays a key leadership role within the L&D department. Consults on learning/development initiatives that have organization-wide impact. Ensures training objectives of large projects are being met.
** Budget:** Manages department budget; monitors spending on a monthly basis; ensures expenditures are in line with plan.
** Project/ Program Management** Manages multiple large-scale projects on an as-needed basis.
Requirements:
- College graduate preferably with an MBA in HR/ Masters in Psychology.
- Overall with at least 10+ years experience in L&D and at least 3-5 years experience in a Managerial role (Preferable)
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent systems and process understanding.
- Strong initiative and outcome orientation .
- High client credibility.
- Excellent project management/organization skills.
- Excellent coaching/counselling skills
