About The Division:
Working in the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) is not your typical government job. If you want to work with a dynamic team and gain experience on energy efficiency programs where you are involved in managing contracts from cradle to grave, this is the ideal position for you.
SECO has many programs that help public entities in Texas reduce utility costs and maximize energy efficiency. This opportunity focuses on a hands-on approach to managing contracts and positively impacting Texans.
We are looking for someone with: (1) great attention to detail; (2) excellent communications skills to work with internal and external customers; (3) eagerness to learn new skills to perform job duties; and (4) a positive attitude to work through challenges and find solutions. SECO is a harmonious team, so we want to hire someone who values a collaborative environment.
Work Hours:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. May occasionally work evenings, weekends, or holidays. Hours may change based on business needs. This position requires 3 days in office and 2 days remote work schedule; working arrangements may change at any time as business necessitates.
