Job Description
As an MEP Administrator/Coordinator for the Surrey-Langley Stations Project, you will provide support to your MEP assigned team / project.
Responsibilities****
- Track and coordinate commercial activities within the MEP team namely, Sub-contractor progress billing and change management.
- Track and coordinate sub-contractor shop drawings and RFI’s.
- Track, coordinate, and resolve ongoing issues between SFSP and our MEP sub-contractors
- Assist with on going activities between the MEP team and other SFSP departments.
- Consult and communicate with all personnel on MEP matters, procedures, instructions, etc.
- Comply with all South Fraser Station Partners (SFSP) policies and procedures.
- Comply with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities outlined in ACCIONA’s policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Undergraduate degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a project coordinator role.
- Expertise in MS Office suite and standard engineering software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of commercial and infrastructure projects.
- Good working knowledge of construction drawings, project controls, shop drawings and document control.
- Knowledge of drawing software Autodesk AutoCAD and other modeling software is an asset.
This role offers an annual base salary in the anticipated range of $60,000–$65,000 CAD, with compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
