Job Purpose:
The Technical Writer is responsible for developing, revising, and maintaining company manuals, forms, and technical documentation in compliance with FAA regulations and 21 Air standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, organize, and write internal company procedures, forms, and manuals.
- Contribute to maintaining a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
- Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content.
- Manage revision projects for technical documentation.
- Must be able to work on complex documentation tasks with limited assistance.
- Promote and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Technical Publications department, including procedures, quality control, workflow, and tools.
- Demonstrate expertise in technical documentation methods and procedures in a positive manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Publications Supervisor.
