Job Summary:
The Associate Manager, Specimen Management supervises a team and oversees daily operations to ensure departmental objectives are achieved with quality and efficiency. This role supports operational improvement, resource planning, and team development while driving performance and compliance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff to ensure high performance and engagement
- Set daily operational objectives and coordinate team workflows to meet demand
- Monitor operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and cost savings
- Ensure adherence to quality control systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and equipment justification
- Lead team meetings and foster a collaborative and aligned work environment
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
- Support audit readiness and oversee timely and effective audit responses
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or other equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4 years experience in Specimen Management or related clinical lab services function.
- Knowledge of study set up and cross functional/system dependencies
- Strong understanding of operations, methods, and quality systems
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $58,800.00 - $122,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
