Job Title: Manager – Production
Location: Jaipur
Experience: 10–15 Years

Objective of the Role

To lead and manage day-to-day production operations by achieving production targets, ensuring product quality, optimizing manpower utilization, improving productivity, and driving continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing practices.

Job Responsibilities

Production Management

  • Execute production plans to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Monitor Plan vs. Actual production and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and delivery requirements.
  • Review production performance and implement corrective actions.

Manpower & Shop Floor Management

  • Plan shift schedules and optimize manpower utilization.
  • Ensure availability of manpower, materials, and machines for uninterrupted production.
  • Lead and develop shop-floor teams through training and performance monitoring.

Process Improvement & Productivity

  • Drive Line Balancing, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Improve productivity through process optimization and waste reduction.
  • Support PFMEA, process planning, layout optimization, and capacity planning for existing and new products.

Reporting & Operational Excellence

  • Monitor production KPIs and prepare daily production reports.
  • Resolve production issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations.

  • Internal: Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Supply Chain, HR, and Engineering.
  • External: Vendors, Suppliers, Contractors, and Technical Service Providers.

Education Qualification

Mandatory: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or equivalent)
Reporting Manager: AGM – Operations
