Director Global Oncology Marketing - Thoracic Malignancies

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Global Oncology Marketing team focusing on developing a potentially best-in-class pipeline across treatment settings for Lung Cancers.

We are recruiting for a Global Marketing Director. This role requires exceptional leadership, deep disease expertise, product strategy, brand development and launch experience. It focuses on commercial strategy and execution for indications in lung cancer, with close coordination with relevant asset, cross functional and geographic counterparts.

Position location : Rahway, NJ or Upper Gwynedd, PA (hybrid 3x onsite per week).

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Provides commercial leadership and input in various settings such as Product Development Teams, target product profile development, global regulatory filing strategy, launch readiness reviews, organized customer interactions, market research, demand, revenue (P&L), forecasting, and Business Development & Licensing activities.

· Provide commercial leadership into scientific strategy development & execution, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) development, global brand strategy and campaigns (inclusive of scientific narratives, positioning of asset opportunities in a broader lung portfolio, key messaging and content development).

· Collaboration across teams to develop, plan and support commercial and enterprise readiness for worldwide product launches and campaigns

· Collaboration w/ regions and key markets to develop global strategy for the tumor area while supporting local needs

· Lead or support customer engagement strategies, SL engagement, competitive tracking and assessment to inform on-going commercial planning assumptions and strategy including competitive response planning

Key Capabilities :

· Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with deep product strategy experience and scenarios planning with an ability to pivot quickly

· An action- and solution-oriented approach to complex organizations and functions and ability to deal with ambiguity

· Ability to build a structured approach to a complex and fast paced environment

· Work effectively with cross-functional partners including medical, international, regional and local teams, Market access etc.

· High level of clinical acumen and scientific strategy/engagement experience

· Strong forward-thinking and inspirational leadership

· Effective communicator both verbally and written

· Proven ability to create and drive successful strategies and tactical execution

· Ability to successfully navigate the internal and external environment, and ultimately deliver value to our customers

Qualifications :

Required:

· Bachelor's Degree – preferably with scientific focus

· Minimum 10+ years Pharmaceutical Business experience - marketing, sales, market access & pricing, or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries

· Understanding of healthcare trends and reimbursement and policy issues and their potential impact upon our Company's business opportunities

· Experience leading strategy development and implementation

· Strong business acumen and ability to drive forward key initiatives

· Strong collaboration skills, both within commercial teams and cross divisional teams

· Strong leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills

· Ability to clearly articulate messages/information across the enterprise and to leadership

· Ability to work within complex organizations and markets and leading sub- teams and influencing without authority

Preferred:

· Advanced Degree (i.e. MBA, medical degree, doctorate)

· Global Marketing experience, Regional/Local Marketing experience

· Launch and/or Oncology experience

· Experience providing commercial input on TPPs, global regulatory filing strategies, launch readiness reviews, P&L, forecasting, BD&L activities, agency partnership, product development teams

· Experience leading disease/therapeutic area strategy development working w/ finance, business planning for brand and supply forecasts

This position requires approximately 15-20% travel, including some weekends.

The salary range for this role is

$190,800.00 - $300,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
