CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Perform routine inspections and measurements to verify part dimensions and quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or machine malfunctions to supervisors
- Assist in tooling changes and machine adjustments to optimize efficiency and accuracy
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with CNC programming and machine operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in manufacturing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
